Our final Talking Tales of 2015 snuck in on the 14th December amongst all the boozy Christmas work do’s. We all managed to stop stuffing our faces with mince pies for a couple of hours to share in some not-so-Christmasy, and some slightly-more-Christmasy short stories.
We heard stories from the following brilliant Bristol writers:
You can listen to the whole event if you missed it (or if you want to revel in the joy all over again), on our Podomatic page.
We’re starting 2016 with a bang by holding February’s Talking Tales on a SATURDAY night! That’s right folks – Babycham at the ready, it’s gonna be a big one…
It’s on 20th February at 7.30pm at Leftbank in Stokes Croft, Bristol.
There will be stories, music and beer, and it’s FREE – well, not the beer (sorry for getting your hopes up), but the rest is free, though we’d really appreciate your donations for our sound guy, Max. He’ll cry if he doesn’t get any Babycham. We also have incredibly sought-after, limited edition, vintage, rare (they’re not, I’m just throwing words in) extra-special BADGES up for grabs on the night! Tell your mates, your mum, your boss, your dentist, your cat, and your second cousin twice removed (what does that even mean anyway?) and bring them all along!
Want to perform? We’d love to hear from you. The deadline for submissions is 12th February. Stories must be under 10 minutes but can be on any theme. Simply email your story to firstname.lastname@example.org
See you there!
