Talking Tales went on tour as part of the Bath Fringe Festival! We went all the way from Bristol to Bath for “More Banksy than Bonnets” to showcase brilliant Bristol writers with their best humorous short stories. The event was held at Burdell’s Yard on Sunday 5th June.
We were super excited to get a five-star review in the Bath Chronical and on the Theatre Bath website:
“Ending a day with ferocious Quokka’s, an Australian marsupial, devouring humans on a boat before engaging in various forms of sexual intercourse with werewolves, vampires and zombies might seem unconventional, but is, in my opinion, an excellent way to spend the evening.” – Alexandra Wilbraham
Many thanks to all the writers who performed:
Plus Christie Cluett and Thomas David Parker who held it all together:
Go on, give them a follow on Twitter. You know you want to.
Huge thanks to our photographer Jean-marc Nehmé.
Also, a big thank you to Burdall’s Yard, Bath Spa Live and of course the 2016 Bath Fringe Festival for having us. We hope to see them again next year!
The next Talking Tales will be back at home in Bristol at Leftbank, Stokes Croft, on Saturday 13th August. Follow us on Twitter or on Facebook to keep updated, and be sure to subscribe to our newsletter (we’ll only send you love, not spammy crap, we promise!)
